[Growth] |
Dear Angela,
You are so right in this. I believe many great insights are attainable through still/peaceful meditation. But I find the true challenges come from interacting with people. That's when I really come up against the patterns and habits I'm presently stuck with in my way of being.
It's all fine and dandy to discover insights through meditation, but it doesn't become real for me until I am able to put it into practice. That's when significant spiritual growth occurs for me; when I can step outside the box of my comfort zone in relating to people and re-create myself in action - words and deeds.
We all already have all the answers. It's like they are stored on a giant bazillabyte hard drive in God's memory, and we are just learning how to upgrade our CPU's and fine-tune our programming to access that information more easily.
Some of us have better virus protection programs than others, some of us experience system crashes, and some of us are able to work at the speed of light.
But we all have access to the answers. Its the application of those answers in our lives that is the real challenge. And, its learning how to speak each other's language, relating with each other in ways that go straight to the heart and soul, that make all the difference.
Re-membering who we really are, and remembering that God has sent us nothing but Angels, is the true challenge when we interact with each person we cross paths with.
I, too, find much food for thought in these postings, and in conversing here and in the chat room.
You are an angel - all the best to you!
