Geodemocracy Lesson 8 -Details of Specific Procedures |
As homework, each person who wishes to learn this should write a glossary of the new terms and titles, with their meanings, from this Lesson. If the terms are understood, the whole system is pretty much easily understood.

Reshuffling
Once a year, right after the annual Audit, the Geonet is randomly Reshuffled. Each member is reassigned to new I-Teams, usually in their local area. The constraints on this Reshuffling are that, as first priority, the I-Teams the member links after the Reshuffling are within 100 miles of their living area. The I-Team accounts are reshuffled with the member, to reflect his/her new connection. If the I-Teams in a given area are not sufficient for a successful reshuffle, then the members can be shuffled into Link positions where one I-Team is local and the other is remote. Reshuffling occurs on the O-Node level only. It is not necessary to make sure all the members are in I-Teams with totally different members, but that as few as possible members in the new I-Teams are different than the year before. Since the Live Meetings have set times, and these times are the same for all I-Teams across a time zone, and because almost all meetings are networked electronically, only those who will be assigned to link I-Teams across time zones need be consulted as to the convience of their new assignments, and given an opportunity to get reassigned to more convienient I-Teams within their time zone.
