The Truth that can SET US FREE |
The Truth is that humanity is one with this planet, evolved from it, and is part of it 100%. It keeps us alive, day to day, and our minds, contrary to popular belief, are not separate from this planet, or consisting of separate spirits, or isolated from one another. We are not each centers of Universe nor separate universes. Not one of us is more or less important to God or Universe than another. Universe is not just a huge set of concepts which changes by which ones we choose to accept and which ones we reject, except to the extent we act upon the beliefs and they are positive or negative to Life on this planet.
Mind is not the height of Universe, nor separate from it, and, in fact, we are this planet being aware of itself. We have a niche in the ecology of this planet. We are the part that is supposed to keep life going against those forces that threaten to kill this planet completely, to wipe out all life on this ball of rock and water and air we call Earth.
Those dangerous forces are such as asteroids and solar flares, dangers from beyond the planet, (all dangers are natural, including Humanity itself,) that could, and have, come close to killing the planet many times in the past. And there are dangers from within our planet, such natural phenomena as volcanoes and earthquakes have released so much carbon dioxide into the atmosphere that Life was almost killed off purely from the fast release of gas into the atmosphere which Life could not adapt to in it's usually slow evolutionary rate. So we are here to take care of Life, and protect it. To this end, Life on this planet has created us with a level of technology far beyond our imagination. Our brains themselves are a million times more complex than any device ever created by human technology. We are far more than we THINK we are!
Humanity is to become the nervous system and brain for the Mind of the planet. We are to exist on a number of scales as that Mind, in our individual lives, where we are each neurons in that massive ecological Brain, and together as the Brain itself, a level of interaction we will not be able to perceive any more than an individual neuron can sense the thought it is part of, which it helps generate.
None of the conceptual systems we hold so dear will remain after the coming changes, neither money, nor bureaucracy, nor hierarchies, nor militaries, nor countries, but all that is real will continue, like power systems, food growing in the fields, the rain, the forests, the clouds, all that we have words to describe but exist without words, while all that exists only as a result of words and agreements and coercion will end. Humans will live together, not separate, and pessimism, cynicism, greed, and even nonspecific fear will fade from human experience.
Starvation will end, torture will be no more, economics will become only a bad memory of history, government will no longer exist as something that forces the peace, but instead people will individually spend time every day handling what governments now botch up in the name of greed. Life will slow down, and parents will consider their children more important than what they do otherwise, and life will be assured, without need or want going unfulfilled. Is this 'Utopia'? No. We will always have the dynamic of the evolutionary process pushing us, pushing us to seed Universe, to plant Life on other planets, for only when Life has reproduced and exists around other stars, will Life be beyond a single destructive event that could wipe it out. Indeed, this is the second reason for our intelligence, our spirit, individually and collectively, ...to go to the stars.
Individually, the Truth is, there is no such thing as 'death'. There is no 'afterlife', nor 'reincarnation', or 'past lives', nor 'future lives', nor 'Heaven', nor 'Hell'... Life and Death are one and the same.
Ahh, you say, but the body grows old, and dies, and corrupts, and fades into the soil... Yes, this is Truth also. Then, isn't this death, and does not the mind of a person disappear from the world? NO.
Mind is like fire, it is part of Universe. It is, and continues to be, and all that is lost when the body fails is the small part that thinks itself as being separate. What we really are is That. We are Universe being aware of itself. Intelligence is a field effect, a wondrous miracle of a field effect, a part of the Universe like Light, like the rays of the sun which shine through your window. Can you destroy that light? No, it can be blocked out, but not destroyed, and we can, with our little transient egos, block out what we really are, but we cannot be destroyed, and that blockage can exist only for a short time, for what we are is as ubiquitous in Universe as light itself.
Consider that: You are Universe being aware of itself. Look at the wall and you are the wall being aware of itself... you are the organic mechanism by which Universe, a part of which is that wall, is aware of that wall. When you walk outside, think about that: you are that tree being aware of itself, and that grass being aware of itself, and the sun itself, shining down, you are that mighty star being aware of itself... and go out on a clear night, and you are those millions of stars being aware of themselves... and Humanity as a whole, as this planet being aware of Universe, is galaxies like grains of sand being aware of themselves...
So there is one Mind, called the Mind of Universe, or, if you wish, the Mind of God, and it has 6 billion local planetary points of view, on a different scale the Mind of this planet, each encased in a body, with a guiding mechanism which keeps you from eating the plate, rather than the food on the plate, which moves your feet so you don't fall down, which divides everything with words so one thing can be differentiated from another, which ends when the body ends, but that Mind is continuous, never ending in any sense of the word...
And that is what you really are, and why, if you can but perceive it, you know beyond doubt why such strange ideas as compassion and love and peace and conscience and sharing are the natural behavior of people, rather than an exception, and then after awhile, you see that such behavior is what sustains us, not the competition, not the turmoil, not the cynicism, not the pain, not the force or the fear of force, but the compassion and the cooperation and the quiet peace of people who love each other... and the planet that we are One with... THAT IS THE TRUTH which, LIKE IT OR NOT, Will Set Us FREE.
